With a focus on Pediatric Surgery, particularly in the areas of Reconstructive Pediatric Urology and Minimal Access Surgery, Dr. Karkera has built an impressive career marked by extensive education and clinical experience.

Born on February 20, 1980, Dr. Karkera embarked on his medical journey by earning his MBBS degree from Rajiv Gandhi Medical College and Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Mumbai in 2001. His dedication to the field of surgery led him to pursue further specialization. He completed his MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur in 2007 and followed it with a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in General Surgery in 2008.
